My pet project years ago.
I owned a Screen Printing & Embroidery shop and specialized in making high end screen printed apparel. I learned early on how to print on stretch fabric like Dri-Fit when it was first released for training gear for university athletic programs.
That was cool…but I always loved embroidery.
I taught myself how to digitize and I started posting stuff.
Shortly after street artist in the US and around the globe took notice. I took their art, digitized it and hand cut them with a hot knife, one by one. A hot knife. It had a more raw, hand made feeling to it that can’t be imitated with high production patches these days.
And I loved every second of it.
